219 attendees graced the historic Riverfront Community Center in Leavenworth, KS, to participate in a fantastic weekend of world-class speakers, wonderful prizes, great food and fellowship.
Almost two years of planning by the W0DXCC-2011 Committee, chaired by Don Devins, WD0BWM, resulted in one of the most enjoyable amateur radio get-togethers in memory! From the hospitality suite Friday evening, hosted by Rick, N0RB, to the banquet program presented by K4UEE, the entire event unfolded with a smooth, professional precision. The mighty Missouri River cooperated, raging visibly along just a stone’s throw behind the building, but just low enough to allow the Center to remain open. Quite fitting, since the Mighty Mo drains Zero Land, and is a vital part of our economy and environment!
We decided at our July club meeting to leave the W0DXCC-2011 website up for just a little while longer – a tribute to a job well done by so many hard-working amateurs who made it all possible!
